The commissioned piece Mensa Rotunda, composed by Andreas Rotevatn, was premiered on the 15th of February 2022. The studio recording of the music was released on the Norwegian jazz label Odin on the 6th of May 2022.
Jazz critic Jacob Holm-Lupo wrote this about the album in Jazznytt:
“The sound of OJKOS is truly unique, and gives all the compositions a clear identity. OJKOS’s playing is like that of one single organism, totally in sync, with openness for the smallest of dynamic nuances. The horn section could almost be one single, polyfonic instrument.”

alea iacta est
The commissioned piece alea iacta est, composed by Andreas Rotevatn, was premiered on the 26th of March 2019. The studio recording of the music was released on the Norwegian jazz label Odin on the 29th of May 2020. For this album, Rotevatn received a Norwegian grammy (Spellemann) award.
Jazz critic Audun Vinger wrote this about the album in Jazznytt:
